For over 30 years we have lived in a home we built for ourselves which is earth sheltered and passive solar,
heating itself 90% of the time with no supplementary source in a 7000+ degree day climate. A passive solar
hot water system provides nearly all the hot water needed. We have lived solely on rainwater for our water needs, both indoors and out, in a semi arid region. A stand alone photovoltaic system performs superbly.
Natural, regional and recycled content materials are integral to every part of the home and our design practice.

We walk the talk in our daily lives and volunteer heavily in sustainable living education. Our business objective is to reach as many people as possible with simple helpful information so that we may all be better stewards of the earth.
