The American Solar Energy Society honored Karlis Viceps at the National Solar Conference in Phoenix, AZ on May 14, 2010.
The Rebecca Vories Award recognizes special contributions to the American Solar Energy Society.
It honors those whose volunteer efforts on behalf of the society have significantly advanced ASES' ability to meet its mission.

On Earth Day in 2005 Karlis Viceps received the first ever Green Hearts Award from Sustain Taos
for conserving, sustaining, and restoring the Earth for Individual accomplishments in our community.
